What does it mean to be asleep?
For the last 22 years I have attended traditional churches, baptist , catholic, lutheran and many others. They have basically taught and preached the same message that Jesus loves us. Do good ,live right, and youll go to heaven. True; but what about now? How do I receive that kingdom of God that Jesus said he brought here to us? About 8 years ago I had the privilege of meeting a friend of mine named Eunice. And she brought to the relationship new ideas .She mentioned such words as Spirit, Energy and Metaphysics. Words I had never heard of before or at least never been taught before. She would tell me that what I do or think carries with it a seed of growth. I know that what I focus my attention on; that is the life I live Must line up with the scriptures. But I would listen to her for it would be rude not to acknowledge people. A few months later I prayed a prayer I said Lord give me understanding of your word. And slowly but consistently I began to see things in a different light. It was as if I had been asleep for as far back as I could remember. I began to understand the scriptures just as Jesus said and not as I had been taught. Jesus said the words I speak are spirit and they are life. Thats it exactly! Everything, everything that he spoke was spirit(ual) .The words themselves would be of a physical nature but they were of a spiritual understanding. This is why he said those that have ears to hear let them hear. He knew that folks would not get it , because they were not in Spirit . As time went on my understanding continually unfolded . My consciousness took on light. I now see that all things that were made that is made was made by him and by him all things exist. Every thing that you see broken down to its lowest terms consists of atoms, protons , neutrons, Energy; God. His Spirit is what holds all things together. I am AWAKE now no longer living life blindly but with a True understanding. JESUS said I am the way the TRUTH and the LIFE (LIGHT). You too can also awake out of that sleep and awake to righteousness. If we would but only go to him in prayer and ask him for that deeper understanding of His creations , the stars the planets the solar system itself. We are but a tiny speck on this giant planet which hangs in the air as a drop of dust among vast galaxies and star systems. But see , you are all that and even more because the heavens themselves are composed of the same identical substances that you are made of . And much more are you , because you are the children of God. Awake my child
